Preparing Your Wardrobe for Winter..

Rainy days off or weekends are a great time to transform your wardrobe into the Winter collection. Start by taking everything out and separating it into piles of different clothing types. Have a very good look at all the Summer clothing such as shorts, mini skirts, sandals and so on, then decide if you will still make good use of them the next summer. If not put them into a separate pile to give to charity, sell in a second-hand shop or online, or simply just bin them. The Summer pieces which are left, store in bags or boxes and pack away for next Summer. Make sure to keep your denim jackets out because they can be paired up with a scarf and still look stylish this Winter season.

Remember, anything that may look good but won't keep you warm should also be packed into the bags or boxes for next Summer. This may be a thin scarf, summer dress, strapless top and so on.

Hang and organize your scarves – Over-the-door hooks can be ideal to keep all of those scarves organized. You can also purchase scarf hangers if the back of your closet door is already filled.

Don't forget to either air, wash or dry clean your Winter clothes. Wash all your inner wear after you have sorted your clothing, so it's all clean and fresh for the season. Ladies, if you can smell a musty smell that is still clinging to your clothes even after airing them for few days then you will need to wash or dry clean them to get rid of the smell.  Just like with any piece of clothing, if you put it away the previous season without cleaning, those stains will be harder to get out of it at all. Doing a thorough check at the end of Winter will give you a less chance of this happening to your clothes.

Once everything is sorted and done, go ahead ladies place them back into your wardrobe and have fun playing around with the Winter trends!
