Powder Beauty Drawer Review

Amazing what you can get in some of these beauty boxes/ Drawers and for the price. You sometimes buy a well-branded beauty product for a similar price for getting many branded products within one beauty box / Drawer.

Just as I take the photos I realise two item (the Model Launcher Safari Bronzer and the Regenerate Enamel Science Advanced Toothpaste) are missing from the box and guess where I find them in my sisters draw and cupboard, so for that reason I haven't added them to the photos above because I only found them afterwards. So sorry about this!! I seem to find that every time I buy makeup or some sort of skin care stuff they go missing to them find them being taken by own very sister, however if I did that it would be a whole big deal made out of it.

Anyways enough of me telling you some of my life story, lets get back to the real reason why you guys are here reading the post.
Inside this Winter Edition, the Powder Beauty Drawer I received some fabulous beauty items:

A Nip + Fab Hydrate - Dragon's Blood Fix Plump Serum. It was the first time I used this product and have found that it works wonders on my skin and I will, therefore, be buying this product alone after using it.  The Plump Serum left my skin feeling less plumped and smoother right from the very first application of the serum.

I also got a Dr Botanical Antichoke Superfood Firming Night Moisturiser. I must admit that this is the first time I have ever heard if the beauty brand 'Dr Botanical' and after using this Firming Night Moisturiser, I can say that my skin feeling smooth and softer.

From the collection fresh, I got a Soy Face Cleanser. It does exactly what it states on the product itself. The Soy Face Cleanser Cleaned my face and eyes after a few applications and uses of the product well enough to say it is a good cleanser product.

This is a good product to get within my Beauty Drawer which also means it saves me money on going to buy one. I bet your all wondering what product this could. Well its a Show Beauty Premiere Working Texture Spray Tan 250ml. Us girls love a fake tan for heading out to the club, pub, some cocktails or simply to just look tanned or give our skin some extra glow. I have not yet used the spray tan and therefore I can not tell you guy whether or not this brand of spray tan is good or not. Maybe after using it I can give a separate review on the tan if any of you would like, just let me know in the comments section.

Oh is it not fabulous, when you get new makeup pieces, girls? I find it always somewhat exciting and in this Winter Edition Beauty Drawer I received a Model Launcher Safari Bronzer Full Size, saved me money not having to go out and buy a bronzer. I, however, do not feel very keen on this product and find that there are several better bronzers that could have been included inside the Beauty Box. This is because it didn't last on my skin too long. When I applied the bronzer itself it did look good on my skin and I did not apply too much compared to some of the other ones I used. Having said this, the bronzer might look and last differently on different people and their types of skin. You can never be sure of something like this until you try it out for yourself.

Another three pieces of makeup I got inside the Beauty Drawer were 3INA - Eyeliner Pencil, Smashbox - Lipstick and NilsInc Nail Varnish.

Let's talk about the 3INA - The Eyeliner Pencil. Once again this is a brand I have never heard of. To me, this product works just like most other eyeliners out there and  I personally couldn't see much difference after application. I did feel when applying the Eyeliner it was easy to apply and use which is always a good factor when it comes to buying or deciding on which makeup product to use from which brand.

Now on to the Smashbox Lipstick in Shade; Be Legendary Crimson Chrome. This lipstick is very bright in colour and feels lovely as you apply the product to your lips. I do although feel that after application, the lipstick felt very watery on my lips.  The Smashbox Lipstick did stay on my lips for a good few hours before I had to apply it again. I would say this is one of these lipsticks where you either love the liquidy effect of the lipstick or not as such.

Thirdly is the NailInc Nail Varnish which I totally love and would pay out to have more different variates of colourd to use of this nail varnish. I just love how quick the nail varnish dries and how long the nail varnish last before it starts cracking or peeling off. It is now another nail varnish brand that I love and will continue to use.

As well as getting all the products I stated above, inside was a 5ml tester of Tiffany Eau De Perfume. Despite the fact its so small and doesn't last after one use, it still smells good and is great to get in the Beauty Drawer especially for those who have never tried the perfume before.

I also got two Pukka Tea bags (Relax and Revitalise). I am kind of excited to try these two different tea flavours. I will defiantly have the relax one today before I hit bed and hope like the taste. I will save the other tea bag flavour for another day.

The last beauty product inside the Powder Beauty Drawer is the Regenerate Enamel Science Advanced Toothpaste 14ml only. I would say that this toothpaste is a great toothpaste, leaving my teeth feeling clean, fresher and whiter. I would recommend this toothpaste to use on a daily basis if you want to achieve and have better teeth when you smile.

With getting my first Powder Beauty Drawer and seeing and using the beauty products inside, I would willingly go and get another Beauty Box to use by them, knowing that they have some good quality beauty products inside, No doubt!

A few of my Ted Baker beauty essentials

Girls, we all love a bit of Make-up and each and every one of us have some beauty brands which they totally love and have essentials from. Yes, I'm not so much of a beauty queen like most girls and still manage to have a fair amount of make-up to get me by from different brands. I bet from looking at most of my post that you all can tell how I totally adore clothes, shoes, bags, and accessories more and due to this don't own as much makeup as some of you girls.

There's actually one thing that springs into my mind when I think of Ted Baker Beauty and that's the makeup sets that they do each and every year around the Christmas time. Last years was Ted Baker Brilliance of Beauty Gift Set which can be seen in my previous post by clicking on the pink title.

Most of these Make-up Ted Baker Essentials come from my last year set and a few bought separately. I just totally love, love, love their Make-up sets as they are a bargain for a whole lot of what you can get within the set and they are still lasting me from Christmas plus the odd bits I bought since. If I must say I'm rather proud of how long this Make-up is lasting me. Well, then again I don't use it every day as I go to work and it is mostly used on the weekend depending on my look. It may look like Ted Baker is the only brand I love and use but in all honesty its not.

Essentials from my Ted Baker Make-up are: 2 Lipsticks (Red and Nude), 2 Lip & Check Tint, Blusher Compact, Eye Shadow Compact, 3 Nail Varnish (Nude, Grey, and Cherry Red). And also my pretty Ted Baker Bag in the background.

MAC Velvet Teddy Shadesent Perfume Review

Mac Velvet Teddy Perfume is just one of the 8 fragrances that have come out earlier this year. All 8 fragrances have been designed to match the lipstick already out and experience the lipsticks now by the smell. At the moment the shadesents are a limited edition but according to Mac they are hopping to keep the Velvet Teddy Perfume.

I however just bought the Mac Velvet Teddy Perfume. It is a wild honey and creamy musk sent and can't seem to say if I like the sent or not. Its just one of these sents which I can't get my head around the smell yet I don't seem to hate it.

For the price of just £35, I find that this perfume smells for longer then a lot of perfumes I like to use as even after it dries the smell still keeps on smelling great which is a very rare for a perfume at a lower price.

I do not feel the need to apply this fragrance so often and even after a good few hours of wear I can still smell the sent. I totally love the glass bottle design with the rosy and black two colours use, something not seen another brand use yet. The crystal cut glass gives you the idea and affect of a whisky glass or bottle and I would say it is a unique design to Mac.

I would highly recommend you try this sent for yourself and even if not this one then any of the 8 fragrances Mac produced before its too late.

Let me know which sent you like and use or have bought below in the comments :)

My Urban Decay "Naked 5 Brush Set" Review

A few days ago my Urban Decay Naked 3 brush set arrived. I was very happy and excited  about receiving and using them that I thought I would do a quick post about them.

Inside the Urban Decay Naked 3 brush set are 12 brushes which are all travel size and each brush is sealed.

I found that for the price you pay they are great and affordable. I would recommend buying these brushes as a set because buying these brushes individually means spending more on them. One brush is around £15 and some of the other brushes can be more.

These brushes are in a nice copper colour which is rare to be found on any other brush brand and they can be stored in my matching metal case.

 12 pack brushes:

- Powder Brush
- Eyeshadow Brush
- Large Eyeshadow Brush
- Medium Eyeshadow Brush
- Small Eyebrow Brush
- Lip Brush
- Blush Brush
- Oblique Eyebrow Brush
- Eyeliner Brush
- Eyelid Brush
- Angled Contour Brush

I myself have mostly been using the foundation, powder, concealed and eye blender. I find that the hair on these brushes is very soft and the makeup blends well with them as well as for them being easy to clean and use.

Real Technique Sam's Pick Brush Set Review

Every girl these days owns a Real Technique brush, being that 1 brush or maybe 6 brushes. For me this is the first set of Real Texhnique Brushes I bought and yes many of you may say I'm a little behind on them but at least I have a pair of Real Technique brushes now. Knowing these brushes cost half of Mac I thought I'd make the purches and buy the brushes that everyone is talking about.

This Real Technique Sam's Pick brush set features 6 brushes and one being exclusive to the set. They are all hand made by Sam Champman and know as one half Pixiwoo.

1.) Real Technique Multi-Task brush -

A large fluffy slightly fanned brush that is created for the use of powder, blusher, setting powder or bronzer. I like this brush as it feels so soft against the skin when using it with any powder and bronzer. It is a rather flat brush and is not as much of a precision therefore I wouldn't recommend it to be used for contouring or highlighting instead use it to used for dust on powder or bronzer and buff into your skin.

2.) Real Technique Buffing brush -

This is properly the most talked about brush out of all the real technique brushes. It has a good shap to it with a medium density and very soft to make blending foundation that much bit easier as well as tinted moisturiser, powder and cream products.

3.) Real Technique setting brush -

The brush is a good shape and size for setting the undereye area. It's super soft as the other Real Technique brushes and extra light. This brush can also be used for blending out concealer as it dose a great job due to the shape and size of the brush.

4.) Real Technique pointed foundation brush -

It is fabulous for concealer around tricky areas like the nose and it is soft yet firm so you can build up that coverage on your face in any area that you require it for. I totally like using this brush as I find it does what is says it's designed to do.

5.) Real Technique fine liner brush -

This brush is firm but still soft and the brush holds its shape so well when drawing any kind of lines on the face of any thickness. I find this brush to be a good one for those who use plenty of eyeliner and that.

I would totally recommend this set of brushes to anyone. Get yours the sinner the better before it's too late. You can never go wrong with the Real Technique brushes and these set of 6 brushes are a great must have as they certainly don't disappoint and great for the price you pay.
