Last Friday, it was my mum's birthday and we celebrated by going out. We celebrated with drinks and dinner at Crazy Bear for the first time. The interior is lovely and looks posh with the modern but old style incorporated together. I can say, that it was a bit hard to find the place without any signs to say where exactly to find the building, and the only thing that gave it away to us was the statue of the bear outside the place.
On arrival, we were greater by staff members at the side desk where one of the members took us to the table which looked like the one below in the picture.
When seated down I noticed that all tables provide you with sparkling or still water in glass bottles and all the tables are set up prior to your arrival.
They have a separate place just for the bar and not too far from the bar down a flight of stairs are the toilets which I must say are a little confusing at first as the toilet doors just look like mirrors and part of the downstairs design. The toilets are stunning with morriors all around just like seen in part of the photo below.
I Must say the selection of food on the main menu is limited but still a good range to choose from and their cocktails are pretty nice.
When ordering you chose the dishes you have to order your side separately. I chose to have a duck dish with sweet potatoes as a side and opted for the cocktail of the day. I thought why not see what they provide and try something different from my usual selection of cocktails.
I can say that the duck was cooked to perfection and the sweet potatoes were tasty and not burnt or hard.
I would highly recommend visiting this place to dine or even just for drinks. I wouldn't say this place is a regular go-to place but definitely a one-time experience. I am yet to still have a stay in the crazy bear hotel. It is something that I will be adding to my list of places to visit and stay.
