How to tell a fake Rolex Watch?

In this “How to spot a fake..” review I will explain how you can spot the difference between a counterfeit and authentic Rolex Watch.

This is one of the harder products to tell as it becomes more difficult to identify between the fake and the real Rolex Watch due to the fact that there are more fakes being modded to include authentic parts.

That's Why from the two pictures below you can't really tell the difference:

I would advise with such watches to always buy from an authentic boutique, shop or seller that is 100% trusty to avoid any sort of authenticity issues.

Clasp -

The genuine Rolex will have a thinner clasp and feature a more pronounced logo and has been polished which is why the finishing (brushing of the steel) on the two watches has a huge difference. in terms of real vs fake, the crown logo is more prominent on the real clasp and the authentic Rolex lock mechanism operates more smoothly compared to the fake watch.

Watch Strap -

The finish of the genuine Rolex under light will have a much better visual finish. The stainless steel quality will be superior compared to the fake watch. It also has a shine to it that the fake Rolex watch lacks.

Back of clasp -

The Rolex engravings on the inside of the clasp are far sharper on the real Rolex as seen in the image below:

The engraving will also look more professionally imprinted whereas the fake imprint will look as if the engraving wasn't done too great standards and quality.
