I know it has been a while since my last post and I would like to apologise for this. I have had a busy few good weeks as you can see from the name in the post, I visited Warszawa (Warsaw) a few weeks ago and then coming back to some catching up to do at work and with few people outside of work.
Warszawa (Warsaw) is the capital of my home town and whilst it can be slightly embarrassing to be from Poland and have never actually been to the Capital of Poland right up until now. I can say it was well worth the trip as there are many things to see and visit. Warszawa (Warsaw) can be seen as a much different from the other usual typical places in Poland and this therefore makes it very intriguing to visit, not only for people from Poland but also around the world.
I stayed in a lovely hotel; Ibis Hotel which is a fantastic place to stay for someone visiting Warszawa (Warsaw) from outside out of Poland. I say this because everything inside the hotel can be read and got in English. The staff even speak English and it is highly popular place to stay if wanting to stay close to the old town part of Warszawa (Warsaw) and is also handy because you can use the train, bus, trams, bike or walk to all the other things around the old town in other areas to see and visit.

Day 1 -
Not far from the Palace of Culture and Science was the big shopping centre and being a girl I just had to visit it and have a little shopping trip. Inside there was a mixture of Polish shops to the European ones like New Look, H&M, Zara and Pandora. just outside the shopping centre is Hard Rock Café. When heading into the shopping centre I could see the Hard Rock Café was pretty busy with many people heading in and out as well as sitting outdoor and enjoying a drink in the gorgeous warm, sunny weather.

After doing a bit of shopping it was time to take a break and have a nibble and cool down. I sat down for a fresh cocktail and polish food in a place where you pay for how much you put on your plate. Basically they weigh your food and you pay by the weight. I must say you couldn't eat in a cheaper place and such a cool and different idea which I had never seen done before.
Day 2 -
On the second day I went and visited Lazienki Park. It's a lovely and beautiful park to visit, especially in the hot and stunning weather I had. It was designed in the 17th century and has been open for the public since. I must admit the park is just as big as Battersea park. Its a lovely and pretty park however doesn't compare to the parks in London.
The next stop was a Museum which is popular and know to many in Warszawa (Warsaw). Copernicus Science Centre which is a Science Museum standing on the bank of the Vistula River in Warszawa (Warsaw). The Centre is the largest institution of its type in Poland and one of the most advanced in Europe.
In the evening I went to see the Old Town. It has many pub, bars and places to eat across the area as well churches, Royal Castle, Old Historical Building and the University is not far. I would say it is the main attraction in Warszawa (Warsaw) for the tourist. Once on the market square, you can also visit the Literature Museum and the Historical Museum of Warsaw. The Historical Museum focuses on the culture, art, and history of Warsaw, collected for centuries by various cultural organizations and the University of Warszawa (Warsaw). The other Literature Museum, has been named after Poland’s greatest writer and poet, Adam Mickiewicz, who is considered the pioneer and most important artist of the Polish Romanticism.
Warszawa's (Warsaw's) Royal Castel is something which you can't miss when walking around the old town as it dominates the big Castel square which marks the end of the historical royal route and the entry of the Old Town. The Royal Castel was reconstructed in the 1980s after World War II bombing.
Day 3 -
On the third and final day in Warszawa (Warsaw) I visited the University Roof Top Garden which was a gorgeous view across Warszawa (Warsaw) and a lovely beautiful very green and well kept garden where you can just spend the day and sit around or maybe have a picnic or read a book and relax.
During that day I also visited the Polish Stadium called 'Narodowy Stadion' where a lot of the Polish games are played. Its rather a huge stadium which to be honest I wasn't expecting for it to be so big. Its quite an experience to stand around and look down onto the football pitch and not something I would usually do yet it was worth experience and not only seeing a football pitch from the home screen.
I had a lovely time here visiting and getting to know the Capital of my home town and one day I will be back to visit and explore again seeing some of the same things as well as many of the other still yet to see. It's to big of a place to visit everything in such a big place within the short time I was there.
All the three day spent there I had a fabulous time and beautiful very hot weather to enjoy unlike England at the time. Well we can all say it's different now, being this week is much hotter then most countries and you don't have to spend money going aboard. Right I know though its not the same feeling through but still nice to get this weather in England. Lets all ask ourselves how long will it last before it goes back to the old boring weather.
Well I hope you have enjoyed this post and it has given you some insight where to see and visit at some point. Love to hear your opinions on the place after reading this post.
